What an amazing hot weekend for the Dublin Docklands’ Festival. The sun shone for the entire time and there were thousands of people there. Jonny Crawford , from Mastercraft, gave slalom demos and Lindsay Whelan, from the Irish team, and I gave wakeboarding demos over the two days. The water wasn’t the best as the area is very small and there is a backwash from the walls but we managed to throw a few things which kept the crowd cheering!
There were great vibes and some newspapers were there along with 98FM Radio station pumping out music. We also gave one of the radio guys a tow and he was really stoked about that. There was lots happening over the weekend including dragon boat displays and magicians and jugglers and loads of great food. Billabong and Monster Energy were there too and it was an awesome weekend.
