Comments Off on Irish Wakeboard Nationals 2014 – stoked to keep my title!

What a great weekend at the Irish Wakeboard Nationals in Enniskillen. Despite the awful weather (rain and strong winds), it was a really tight Open Men final with everyone killing it. I’m so stoked to have managed to retain my Open Men title for the fifth year in a row. Congrats to Paul Johnston on taking 2nd and David Coates on 3rd. Well done to Sian Hurst on holding on to her Open Ladies title and big congrats to all the young groms who stepped up their game and are landing more inverts and spins than ever. Thanks also to all the organisers and sponsors and to Nils Kroon and Nicolas Subjobert for coming over to judge Here are some photos. Thanks, David

Photo shoot in Cork

Just back from 5 days of great banter in the south of Ireland. We started off at the cable at Ballyhass – those guys are awesome! Early morning and late night shoots including finishing at 1am one morning… Then down to the club at Carrig for a couple more days of epic banter and boat riding. We raised €300 for the charity Aware too.

Comments Off on Wakestock 2014 – so stoked to win!

I’m buzzing after winning Wakestock this morning! It was one of my main goals this year, and achieving it is one of the best feelings! Life is good!!
Also I want to thank all the Irish people out here! Their cheering was sensational!

Big congrats too to fellow Irish team rider, Sian Hurst, who took 2nd place in Pro Women. Given that Sian had a lot of injuries this season it’s a brilliant result.

Comments Off on 24 Hour ‘Rideathon’ for Charity!

What a brilliant event. Wakedock in Dublin held a 24 ‘rideathon’ to raise funds for  the charity Aware. There were 20 riders and we raised about €6,000. Wrecked now though having ridden yesterday, late last night and early this morning!
